In this at-home 6-hour program (3 sessions x 2 hours), you will learn how to create a variety of abaya designs and must excel in pattern making and sewing. Subjects include the basic abaya pattern, choosing the right fabric, and finally diving into the technical and practical requirements concerning an abaya's construction and construction.
What you will learn:
- Trends and History of Abaya
- Take measurements and create personal abaya basic pattern
- Sketch 4-6 abaya designs in color inspired from their mood board
- Create a mood board for abaya designs
- Learn the fundamentals of fashion drawing on a base including draping, ruffles, and volumes
- Sketch 4-6 abaya designs in color inspired from their mood board
- Stitch 1 complete abaya
