This 4-hour group workshop is for anyone who wishes to understand celiac disease and the best practices of preparing food for themselves, celiac customers, friends, or family members. Under the guidance of professional chefs, you will learn what celiac disease is and why every step in cooking should be taken care of when preparing food for celiac consumers. You will learn the basics of preparing gluten-free food including equipment and the environment which might increase the risk for celiac disease.
With the support of your instructors, you will prepare a three-course meal, including biscuits and pumpkin bread, that you can take home with you!
