This online class is designed to equip students with one of the most important life skills for success, namely effective and impressive communication. With the guidance of professional instructors, the program gives a fantastic platform to participants where they will learn to get rid of stage fright, develop a profound speech and deliver it with impact.

Choose the 10-session package for beginners and the 7-session package for students who have prior experience and wish to develop their skills further.

Course Outline:

Module 1 - Fundamentals of Public Speaking:

• Learn and perform: Introductory speech
• Learners will learn about the fundamentals of Public speaking - Speech content, Voice modulation and Body language. They will learn to acknowledge and overcome their stage fright using affirmations and the 3P formula.

Module 2 - Voice Modulation:

• Learn and perform: Poetry and ballads
• Learners will be introduced the importance of using voice variation in their speeches and regular conversations. They will learn techniques like volume, pace and pause to deliver an effective performance.

Module 3 - Fundamentals of Public Speaking:

• Learn and perform: Introductory speech
• Learners will learn about the four pillars of Public speaking - Speech content, Memorising and remembering, Voice modulation and Physical delivery. They will learn to acknowledge and overcome their stage fright.

Module 4 - Speech Structure:

• Learn and perform: Informative speech.
• Learners will be introduced to the structure of a speech and story - opening, body and closing. They will learn to identify and write keypoints for a speech. The learners will also be equipped to write a speech by applying their knowledge of speech structure, audience, setting and speech objective.
